We have officially completed our home study. Now all we have to do is wait a few weeks for the social worker to complete the paperwork and we will be on to the next step! Which is the I-600a form we will submit to the US government for approval for international adoption. We leave in a few hours for Haiti! Like we have posted before we do not believe we will have the chance to see the kids as we will be half way across the country, but who knows what God has in plan! Please pray for our safe travels and our ability to help His children. And for the impossible to become possible that we may somehow have a chance to connect with Ben and Ephtonline!!! We know God has a purpose for us and he is leading us to Jermemie! Whatever He has in store for us we are prepared to do! He has been so faithful to us thus far and we trust in Him completely! After the I-600a form comes the first major payment of the adoption process... $8000... so if you have any suggestions on fundraisers we would LOVE to hear them! Thanks for all you have done! Mike and I are so excited for you both!! God DOES have BIG plans for you, I just feel it! What an awesome opportunity you've been given to be His hands and feet for those in need. Congratulations on completing the home study and will be praying for God's speed on getting the approval on the I-600a!! Safe travels and praying that it be God's plan for you to be able to see Ben and Ephtonline. We will work with you guys all we can to help fundraise. Perhaps an "online yardsale" of sorts? We could ask for donations and see what we come up with...or you could always sell things on Ebay...we've had a lot of success with that.
